About the event
This workshop is open to anyone over 50 who would like to get out in the fresh air and learn a new skill. Come and join us in Larbert Woods and get a little closer to nature. This workshop is aimed at beginners with no previous experience of whittling however if you've done some whittling before you're welcome to still come and join us!
This is an outdoor event so please dress appropriately for the weather.
We aim to provide hot drinks and biscuits on the session. Please note any allergies or dietary requirements on the booking form.
For this workshop we will meet at the entrance to Larbert Woods which is at the back of the Purple hospital Car Park.
Getting there:
If travelling by car there is limited parking at Mcallister Avenue, opposite Gretna Mews. This is a short walk from the site of the workshop along the blue route through the woods.
Please do not park by Larbert House.
If travelling by bus, there are a number of buses that serve Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
Our starting location is also only 1.5 miles from Larbert Train station.
This session is FREE thanks to funding from Todhill Wind Farm Community Fund. Please look out for our other wild workshops coming up in April, June & July.
